An Update + Collective Book Haul

Bonjour!

I am back people! Did you guys miss me? I have a strong feeling that you didn’t (who am I kidding, right?).

Just an update for those who are interested… 

I was gone for a while because I joined the April session of Camp NaNoWriMo and I’ve been writing my butt off since the first day of that month. It was both crazy, exciting and well worth it because I won my second NaNo Novel (I am fully aware that what I did there was redundant and I planned it that way) and I do hope that this book will be the one.

I haven’t picked up a book during that month because I wanted to focus all of my energy into writing. Now that Camp NaNoWriMo is over, I am left with an empty feeling inside of me. The month is already moving along and I still haven’t had the energy to read a book (aside from 21 Proms which I am doing an Instagram read-a-long with #21DaysofProm *shameless self-promotion*). Honestly, this reading slump is horrendous and I want it to die a painful death (this might be a side effect of playing too much Mortal Kombat X on my tablet)!

Anyway after a month long break I am going to be back here in my blogging station, giving you the scoop on my thoughts regarding anything bookish. I don’t have any scheduled blog posts (heck I don’t even know what to write next), but I’ll be experimenting with that notion soon.
